The Public Policy Institute of California just released a new poll showing:
- We're trailing our leading opponent by five points.
- Katie has a double digit lead with voters under the age of 45.
- Katie maintains her lead in Orange County, where she's been able to introduce herself to voters throughout her last three competitive congressional races.
- The top two vote getters, regardless of party, move onto the general election after March's primary. We can't let Katie drop down to third—but Republican Steve Garvey is inching closer to a second place finish, which could cut Katie from the general election.
So in order to win, we need to mobilize young Californians, prevent Republican Steve Garvey from gaining momentum, and win over the undecided voters.
Katie is no stranger to tough races. But we won't sugarcoat it, we need money to reach voters. Because Katie doesn't take a dime from corporate PACs or federal lobbyists, we're relying on our grassroots supporters.
