Hi—it's me, Katie Porter's whiteboard!
When Congress is in session, Katie keeps me busy grilling corporate CEOs and Big Pharma lobbyists. But lately, I've been thinking about how I could help with Katie's campaign for the U.S. Senate...
What would you think if this was written on me, the whiteboard?
- Katie is the only candidate in this race who doesn't accept corporate PAC or federal lobbyist money.
- Even with fewer dollars to spend, polling has shown us either ahead of Adam Schiff by a point or two, or just narrowly trailing him. And roughly 30% of voters are still undecided.
- We've been outraised and outspent all year, and with just 12 weeks until the primary, we need to catch up.
→ Yes, I'll pitch in $5 today!
That's not all I have to say about this race, though. I spend a lot of time with Katie—she even keeps me in her purse, in case she runs into a Big Oil executive who needs to be held accountable! So believe me when I say, Katie is the best candidate to represent California in the U.S. Senate.
Here's what else I want you to know:
- Republican super PACs spent around $10 million against Katie last year—but she still pulled ahead and defended a once Republican district.
- When she was first elected in 2018, Katie was the only single mom of school age kids in Congress.
- Katie doesn't just talk the talk—she is the co-founder of the College Affordability Caucus and End Corruption Caucus, where she fights for making college affordable and holds her colleagues accountable.
Thank you for supporting Katie and following the work I help her accomplish!
