I just released a new Oversight report with a simple message: Donald Trump's so‑called "Department of Government Efficiency" is a scam.
It was never about efficiency, saving money, or reform. It was always about making billionaires richer while working families foot the bill.
Since DOGE was created, the Trump Administration has cost taxpayers billions in damage, waste, and chaos — while quietly funneling at least $81 million into DOGE operations with virtually zero transparency or accountability.
That's your money. And what did Americans get in return?
❌ Public services disrupted.
❌ Federal workers pushed out.
❌ Sensitive data put at risk.
❌ Billionaire insiders cashing in.
They slapped a shiny name on it and called it "efficiency." But let's be honest — this is a reckless takeover of our government by corrupt elites who see public service as a business opportunity.
I'm the the top Democrat on Oversight. I take that job seriously. And I am not going to sit quietly while Trump dismantles critical public services and hands the keys to his billionaire friends.
