He sees the writing on the wall — he knows the American people see through his lies. He knows he's unpopular. He knows he's losing, and he's getting desperate. So instead of focusing on lowering costs or solving any real problems, he's manufacturing a nonexistent election integrity crisis.  He's reviving conspiracy theories about the 2020 election that courts across the country already rejected. He's threatening election workers. He's talking about deploying ICE and even the National Guard to polling places.  That's not about election integrity. It's about intimidation. Let's get back to the basics — democracy only works if people are free to vote. Without intimidation, without interference, and without fear.  Here in California, we're ready. Since the start of his second term, we've taken Trump to court 59 times, and we keep winning. Over and over again. As long as Trump is a repeat offender, he'll be a repeat loser. So let me be completely clear: If this administration exceeds its authority, deploys federal agents to intimidate voters, or attempts to override state election laws, we will take them to court. Immediately. Our elections are secure. They're transparent. They're governed by law — not by one man's whims. But taking on an increasingly desperate president and corrupt administration requires real resources. It requires preparation and the ability to act fast.
