Friends, I'm suing Trump and RFK Jr.
Here's why:
Under their leadership, HHS and the CDC have thrown science out the window.
They're flouting decades of research, ignoring medical experts, and threatening to strain state resources. And most importantly, they are risking making America's children sicker.
It's unconscionable, illogical, and illegal. That's why today, for the 59th time, I'm taking the Trump administration to court — because kids and families deserve better.
Our lawsuit is against Trump's unlawful overhaul of the childhood vaccine schedule — a reckless move that puts millions of kids at risk, undermines long-standing and evidence-based science, and threatens to strain our state health systems.
RFK Jr. is one of the most prominent anti-vaccine voices in the country, who has led a dangerous movement to erode public trust in safe and effective vaccines.
Now, he's illegally purged the CDC's federal vaccine advisory committee and replaced its expertise with unqualified appointees, including anti-vaccine advocates. And he's stripped seven essential vaccines from the vaccine schedule, without any new evidence or medical recommendations, causing widespread confusion.
Vaccines save lives, and they save trillions of dollars in healthcare costs.
California will not sit on the sidelines while children's health is put at risk and federal agencies break the law.
