Hi, Katie's campaign team here with a quick report on our fundraising efforts in August. We know we send you more emails leading up to our end-of-month deadlines, so we hope you'll appreciate an update on where we landed.
First of all, we're happy to report that thanks to this grassroots team, we slightly exceeded our August fundraising goal! 🎉
Here are a few other stats we thought were pretty cool:
- In August, 29,784 people pitched in online to support our campaign, demonstrating our massive people-power!
- The average contribution was just $24.60—we're proud to say our campaign is supported by working people and families chipping in what they can, when they can.
- People from 2,041 unique California zip codes chipped in, demonstrating Katie's support across the state.
Katie doesn't take a cent from corporate PACs or federal lobbyists. This is a grassroots campaign through and through—and we couldn't do it without your support!
