For more than a year, our field team and volunteers have contacted and identified millions of Beto supporters across Texas. Now, something amazing is happening. We're watching as these people actually get out and cast their ballots for Beto!
Every morning, the Texas Secretary of State lists out all the registered voters who voted early. From this data, we can see which of our supporters voted. And the numbers are really encouraging.
I really need you to see just how close this race is right now. Out of the early votes cast in the last 11 days, hundreds of thousands of our ID'd Beto supporters have already cast their ballots. We know exactly who has voted and more importantly who said they were supporting Beto in this election.
There are lots of new voters that no one expected to show up! Beto showed up and so have they, in record numbers. That doesn't count the many more who voted for Beto but weren't in our database.
It's SO close, Jason. We're setting one final fundraising goal of $3.5 million by the time the polls close on Election Day to fund last-minute advertising to drive up our vote count. This is urgent:
