Ted Cruz and Steve King

Beto for Texas

Jason,

We got some disturbing news this week: Ted Cruz called Steve King -- Cruz's former Presidential Campaign Co-Chair -- to double down on his support of the Congressman. This news comes as bipartisan leaders across the country are united in condemning King's divisive and hateful rhetoric.

Even the chairman of the National Republican Congressional Committee, Rep. Steve Stivers, took extraordinary steps to publicly condemn King, saying "Congressman Steve King's recent comments, actions, and retweets are completely inappropriate. We must stand up against white supremacy and hate in all forms, and I strongly condemn this behavior."

I'll be blunt: it should be easy to condemn Steve King. But for some reason, Cruz can't bring himself to do it.

Ted Cruz is not fit to lead Texas, and right now we have an opportunity to unseat him for good. I'm calling on you to rush another $10 contribution to Beto's campaign today and help us defeat Ted Cruz in just four short days.

Beto for Texas

Not only is Cruz refusing to join members of both parties in condemning his former presidential co-chair's actions but he's doubling down on his support.

Texas deserves better. We deserve a senator who will fight for and represent everyone in our state instead of fueling divisions at a time when we need to come together.

Can you pitch in another contribution of $10 or more to Beto's campaign today? With just four days to go until the election, the polls are closing and millions of new Texans are voting -- let's send Beto to fight for our values in the Senate.

Thanks for standing on the right side of history.

Talk soon,

Chris Evans
